Rainwater HOG : Product Range
The HOG tank was designed by Sydney architect and award-winning designer Sally Dominguez to store water in small spaces - against side walls and under houses. Seeking to store water horizontally under her front patio to feed the terrace garden, Sally was told by a watertank salesperson that it could not be done. She set out to prove him wrong - and designed a long low tank with a hole in its centre - the hole effectively removing the water load from the middle and preventing the horizontal tank from bulging.
Sally made the tank rectangular and sized it to fit between the timber joists of her deck - and the rainwaterhog was born. Once the rainwaterhog was able to hold water horizontally, Sally refined the structure of the tank so that it now can support its full weight on any of its surfaces without bulging. No other water tank is designed to be so versatile.
